We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced tax specialist to join our growing Chartered Accountancy firm.
Our client base is expanding locally, nationally and overseas and an opportunity now exists in our Berwick-upon-Tweed office providing tax advisory services to both corporate clients and private individuals.
Our tax team work across a number of specialist areas, including agricultural and commercial financial accounting, tax and VAT consultancy, audit and assurance, company secretarial, and payroll. We have many family clients who we have worked with for generations along with long-term business clients across a range of sectors and turnovers.

The role will involve:
- reviewing corporation tax computations for a portfolio of business clients
- advising companies of their tax liabilities
- managing HMRC enquiries on behalf of clients
- research and planning on specific projectsmanaging the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical, business-driven approach
- dealing with our clients on a day-to-day basis providing a responsive service
- production of year end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- preparation of CT600s and personal tax returns
- management accounts preparation and cash flow projections.

Ideally, you will have several years of experience in this field, hold a suitable qualification, and have strong communication skills.
